Help sad Dogs of Greenland

  1. In Greenland some aboriginals are keeping dogs in short chains without giving them food or water.
  2. They have no shelter in the extreme cold winter or they get no food during the summer when the fishermen don't need them.
  3. Some dogs are put out on an island in the spring and are not brought back until fall - by then most of them are dead off course.
  4. Those who survive have eaten their mates.
  5. They are only working animals and are considered as objects and not living creatures

Dear Minister,

I am writing today to share with you my concerns; please allow me to demonstrate that conditions for the Greenland sled dogs are still deeply flawed.

As the result of Ekstra Bladet's revelations in 2007, better conditions for the dogs were assured. Sadly, this has not transpired. The dogs are still neglected.

Greenland must not be a familiar witness to this horrific animal cruelty and remain apathetic. I therefore ask you respectfully, as Prime Minister for Greenland, to take action so that the animals have a proper life.

Thank you for your time and attention.
