Im a vegetarian, im against aniaml cruelty and i think it's sick how people can poach whales. It's disgusting how poeple can do this. Whaling is wrong. Whales are a vital importance to our ecosystem, and their such beautiful creatures! They're one of the most unique sea creatures in the world! For one, they can hold about 50 or 60 people, i hear, in their mouth! That's amazing! But to just kill them of is cruel. The Japanese have to learn how to survive without harming our whales. So many animals have been extinct, i wouldn't want one of the largest animals on earth to be on that list of extinction. It's just not right. So really, it just comes down to the conclusion that the Japanese are being ignorant, ignoring our pleas to stop them whaling. I said it once, I'm going to say it again: Whaling is WRONG!

We learnt about whaling last year at school. It is horrific what they're doing to whales. I used to live in albany and thankfuly, the albany whaling station closed down and now it is a sort of museum about whaling. I love whales, i used to see them all the time when we move to NSW. They would go by and my family would go to a friend's house with a good view and watch them. They are magnificant creatures and haven't done anything wrong to be killed like that. Japan should stop kiling whales! Its cruel and them refusing to stop just makes them look like a cruel and heartless country. When i was little we lernt about japan in year 2 and i wanted to go there and see it for myself. Then i found out what they were doing to whales and now i would HATE to e there! They should stop it now, whle there are still whales left! Maybe they should come to australia and go whale watching - then they'd see them as animals, as one of nature's most magnificant creatures - instead of seeing them as money, money and more money. Albany stoped whaling and im sure lots more places have stopped. So why can't japan?

whales command so much respect for their size and beauty, but are so gentle and serene in their way of being. something about them makes me feel that they know more then we as humans know. please stop the brutal and inhumane slaughter of these beautiful creatures!
