HELP THE BURMESE

Target:
1000000
Sponsored by:

Some things annoy me more than others, and you think, "but what can I do?"

The current situation in Burma (Myanmar) is just beyond belief, isn't it?

Yet the world (which INCLUDES  you, me our pathetic governments

- and the UN), just doesn't seem to get it.

This despotic Burmese regime has had the poor country in a stranglehold now, for 46 years!

Recently they build a brand new fortified city named Naypyidaw (translation = "City of Kings"!) to be their new capital,

presumably so they can resist revolution or invasion more readily.

They have left millions of people to struggle at a meager subsistence level, while the economy has utterly stagnated since 1962.

Burma used to be the richest country in Asia, the world%u2019s biggest exporter of rice and teak. Now it has virtually nothing, except a rich supply of natural gas which the Russians, Indians, and Chinese are trying to access.

So, these paranoid inhuman generals are sitting in their palaces indulging in the high life, while millions of their countrymen and women starve, or die from lack of clean water, and now unnecessary infectious diseases, following the tragedy in the Irrawaddy river delta south of Rangoon.

24 million people live in this area.

And they won't even allow the large numbers of foreign AID workers and supplies into the country, refusing to issue VISAS for them in case they have some other political agenda! About time isn't it, for them to be FORCEFULLY removed from power.

Please send an email to your local Congressmen, Senators, Attorney General, the President, Member of Parliament, Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Minister of Defence, etc  - to  anyone who might be able to do anything about it.

Also send copies to CNN, and the BBC, so that they know the world has had enough of these kind of regimes.

URGE them to INVADE BURMA, and NOW - before hundreds of thousands of other people die, when it could so easily be prevented.

These Burmese Fat Cats deserve to have the same treatment as Adolf Hitler and the Nazis.

It is already a week since the disaster, and nothing has been done. The scale is approaching that of the massive tsunami, yet the world just watches and does NOTHING. Here is some small thing you CAN do - giving money at the moment will  have no effect, though it should always help the charitable organizations%u2019 efforts.

And please send this to EVERY ONE  you know, and implore them to do the same !!! Today, right now %u2013 people are dying every minute.

i think its a good idea to invade, obviously the children there who hold power wont play nice and help their own so and adult (u.s.a.) will need to go and set some rules, maybe some "timeout" is in order, clean house. teach some manners and good will. and at the same time give the generals that rule there a taste of their own medicine.
