A heroic homeless man Hugo Alfredo Tale-Yax, stabbed after saving a Queens woman from a knife-wielding attacker, lay dying in a pool of blood for more than an hour as nearly 25 people indifferently strolled past him.  A shocking surveillance video revealed the details, see link below.  We believe that this good Samaritan who gave his life for another deserves to be honoured. I think a memorial would show that New Yorkers do have a heart and it would be a reminder to people to show compassion for their fellow human beings

We the under signed believe that it would be fitting to open a homeless shelter in his name, and to commission a  plaque outside the shelter to honour Hero Hugo Alfredo Tale-Yax good Samaritan for his act of bravery in giving his life to save another.
