The Democratic National Committee has decided that the "first in the nation" status of New Hampshire and Iowa trumps participatory democracy, and is disenfranchising the voters of Florida and Michigan.
Voters in Florida and Michigan are being unfairly punished for wanting to have a voice in selecting our party's candidate for president. By refusing to seat these delegates, our party is shutting out almost one in ten Democratic voters from the primary process. This situation is unacceptable.
Tell Chairman Howard Dean and the DNC to stop behaving like the Bush campaign of 2000 and start empowering voters for change in 2008. Make every vote count, and let the people of Florida and Michigan have a voice!

I am outraged that our party is refusing to seat delegates from Florida and Michigan. Voters in this state, like voters around the country, simply want to have a real say in choosing our party%u2019s candidate for president rather than rubber stamping the choice of a few in the early voting states.
I urge you to reconsider your decision and seat all delegates from all states at this year%u2019s convention. This election is so important for all of us, and we all deserve a voice!
We signed the "Hey DNC: Count Every Vote!" petition!

We have lost something in this country with the electoral college process in and of itself. I have never fully understood the fairness in refusing to count each and every vote cast by Americans and having eletion outcomes determined by popular vote.....isn't that the nature of true democracy? Refusing to seat all delegates is one additional step away from democracy. How and why have we allowed our government to remove individual citizens' voices and preferences in determining the direction of their country???

I am so appalled at the way this election was held. People were locked out of caucuses ( Hillary supporters), there were other states that held there primary to early WITHOUT penalty. Hillary has been abused by the media, BHO , BHO supporters and the DNC .They have “Declared” BHO the Nominee and the Super Delegates did that for him but, they can also change their minds up until August. I demand an Investigation done on the states that held their primaries too early. The worst part of this , is these are caucuses states that went to Obama. He is not READY to be our President and he has far to many radical friends and spiritual advisors that against AMERICA, I believe that can NOT nor should NOT be over looked. By the U.S.A. and the sum of it’s greater parts!

Seat ALL the delegates from Michigan and Florida. Do not grab delegates
earned by Sen. Clinton and GIVE them to her opponent. Do NOT give all
the "undecided" votes/delegates to 1 person when there were other
candidates in the race at that time. The RBC was NOT democratic. We the voter have the LAST say in NOV. Sen. Clinton has shown she is the STRONGER Candidate in both "must win swing states," in all groups, with MORE popular vote, and MORE Electoral College votes. Super Delegates should GO with the candidate who can WIN and that candidate is Hillary Clinton.

Dear DNC & Super-Delegates,
It is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE that you count EVERY VOTE in this primary!! (And NOT just assign half the delegates).
It is a HUGE ERROR to even assume that the current pledged delegate count is accurate! Much additional information has surfaced since many of the primary elections took place. In my state, the primary was held in February. If it were held today, I believe the results would be similar to the recent results in KY, WV, PA, OH, etc. with HILLARY CLINTON WINNING...and in many cases OVERWHELMINGLY!!!
I am personally aware of SEVERAL PEOPLE WHO ORIGINALLY VOTED OBAMA in the primaries, who NOW would NOT VOTE FOR HIM IN THE GENERAL ELECTION...UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!! (And this is NOT ABOUT RACE!!!...which many in the press have tried to indicate).
It is about many other issues which have surfaced over the past several months. These issues will most likely continue to surface, and be exploited as we head from now to November.
I,..along with most Democrats I know, worke with, etc, NOW STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT "IF" OBAMA IS THE NOMINEE, the DEMOCRATS WILL LOSE IN NOVEMBER!!!!
WE WILL VOTE FOR MCCAIN IF OBAMA IS OUR NOMINEE!!!
Additionally, IT IS INCORRECT TO ASSUME THAT PRIMARIES WHICH TOOK PLACE IN FEBRUARY WOULD TURN OUT THE SAME TODAY!!!
Since all the primaries cannot be re-done, it makes it URGENTLY IMPORTANT that you count ALL THE RESULTS from MI & FL as well. I realize Obama's name was not on the ballot in one of those elections,...so hold it again!!! Many have offered to pay for this!
The DIRECTION YOU ARE HEADING in this election is a HUGE DIS-SERVICE TO DEMOCRATIC VOTERS!!! We strongly believe that with Obama as our nominee, the DEMOCRATIC PARTY WILL BE SORRY COME NOV., when we LOST THE GENERAL ELECTION!!!
TAKE A CLOSE LOOK at the recent primaries in KY & WV and the exit polls which indicate that 1/3 OF DEMOCRATS WILL VOTE FOR JOHN MCCAIN "IF" OBAMA IS THE NOMINEE!!!!!!!!!!
Additionally, Hillary CLINTON HAS WON MORE OF THE POPULAR VOTE! And she also WON ALL THE STATES THAT WILL PROBABLY GO DEMOCRAT IN THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE PROCESS IN NOVEMBER.
If you dis-enfranchise so many of us, EVEN THOSE traditionally Democrat STATES MAY END UP ON THE REPUBLICAN SIDE IN NOVEMBER!!!
No one is reporting just how strongly the opinions of Democrats have changed during this primary process! And what a LARGE AMOUNT OF US, WILL VOTE REPUBLICAN, OR STAY HOME, IF YOU DO NOT CONDUCT THIS PROCESS FAIRLY!!!
DON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE, I IMPORE YOU!!!!!

Count the votes because it is the law:
"...The right to choose candidates at a primary election which, by state law, is an integral part of the procedure of choice or which in fact effectively controls the ultimate choice, is included in the right to choose representatives, and this right is secured by the Constitution..."

Hillary won -- what is the problem? YOu cannot say it is not fair.. neither campaigned in the states. Hillary deserves that votes she got on her own.

Can this general election really be won by the Democrats with only 48 states having their votes count. I don't think so. So why is the DNC even playing around with this notion of not counting the votes of MI and FL, this is nuts. And if those two states decide to boycott the general election and not even vote or worse yet vote for John McCain who could blame them.

My vote should count! A date should not impact my right to voice my opinion of who I want to run for office. I have been a loyal democrat since I could remember in a house of republicans and now I plan to change parties. I am very dissappointed in the DNC and have change 3 co-workers minds in switching parties. Why would anyone want to be in a party, who does not respect your vote. DNC, I believe you will be very sorry come election day. MAKE MY VOTE COUNT, ALL VOTES COUNT!!!

as an American citizen in Michigan my vote counts in electing our presidential candidate! no one has the right to take away my vote
