Hicks & Gillette please sell LFC

Since Gillette & Hicks bought Liverpool Football Club, the supporters have endured countless false promises, lies and public fall outs. For example:

1). G&H promised no debt would be used to purchase LFC.

Result - LFC laden with £298m debt at present although against 'KOP Holdings' - the sister company of LFC!

LFC to soon be in £500m plus of debt for the new stadium / purchase value.

Turnover currenly £121m!!!!

2). G&H promised a state of the art 78,000 capacity stadium that would be the envy of the world.

Result - Original published designs now changed for a cheaper and lower cost alternative.

Many supporters doubt a new stadium will ever the built!

3). G&H prmised LFC to be able to compete with top European Clubs in the transfer market.

Result - LFC spent approx £25m net in the Summer of 2007. This was lower than Man Utd, Chelsea, and Man City, and was similar to the net spend of Everton, Sunderland, Portsmouth amongst others.

This spend was similar to the prevous transfer windows for LFC in the season after they got to the CL final and started a new improved TV deal.

4). Rafa Benitez

G&H have failed to publically back the most successful LFC manager in 20 years. 

Reports still suggest Rafa will leave LFC, and this would be a huge gamble on the part of G&H.

Although Rafa doesn't help himself, he is a fantastic manager!!!

In Summary, G&H cannot be trusted to own LFC. They should sell and not subject us to any more speculation and lies. They should also take Rick Parry with them, as he has virtually single handedly almost destroyed LFC in the last 10 years - LFC seems to be one step behind Man Utd even with a relatively similar fan base!

The former shareholders expected G&H to be 'custodians' of our great club, but they are worse than the Glazers at Man Utd!

SAVE OUR LFC! Please G&H, sell up!!!!!!!
