It's time for America to wake up and DEMAND universal healthcare. Let's put the greedy insurance companies out of business forever!

The greed of insurance and drug companies is strangling our nation. Watching Sicko was very eye-opening. It seems so obvious that universal public coverage is the best option for our collective health and well being.

Health care is part of the public infrastructure, as is transportation, education, communication, energy and public safety. Lack of single-payer, not-for-profit, universal health care is one of the key reasons our nation's economy is on a downward path. We must reverse this. HR 676 is part of the path to peace and prosperity in America.

We support the universal single payerplan in HR676. This nation is investing billions in warfare but still cannot provide a healthcare system that serves the needs of all its citizens. If the health of our citizens were the true purpose of our current system and administration this bill would not be necessary but profit is what drives this large machine. We need reform, we need to care, we need to pass this bill.

I support this bill and your efforts. Thank you for working hard for the welfare of all the people and not just a chosen few.

People are suffering and dying for adequate health care. With Preexistings conditions and ludricrous charges they have no other choice. This is immoral. Support Bill HR676

It is well past the time for the US to join the rest of the world's wealthy nations in providing quality, free healthcare to all its people. This lack is not just sad, it is criminal. Our leaders have allowed healthcare lobbyists to fill their bank accounts at the expense of the people they have sworn to serve...and every one who has has blood on his or her hands.

It's time to stop the insurance companies from telling the doctors what you can or cannot be treated for.......

Too bad Medicaid wasn't chosen in 1965, instead of Medicare - It REALLY would have made a difference

I had a similar situation to the woman whose insurance didn't pay for the ambulance because it wasn't pre-approved! The excuse they gave me was they wouldn't pay because I was admitted to the hospital! They even charged $12.00 for transportation, and I live less than a mile away! Disgusting!!

I have been personally affected by hmo's power and would like to spare others from the devastation of losing almost everything just because you were ill.

It is time that we catch up to the rest of the world. We have the resources, the money, and now a plan to be effective and take care of our citizens. We all deserve to be well and it should be in the interest of our Government to keep us well.

Health care is a basic human right to which everyone is entitled. It is essential element in maintaining an acceptable quality-of-life. I want to see wide-spread Congressional support for HR 676. Pass this bill ASAP!

There is absolutely no reason we should not take the profit out of healthcare. HR676 is the way to heal our nation is more ways than one. Dennis Kucinich is who we need to lead us on this, and on many other issues. Please vote Kucinich in 2008!

My parents have worked hard their whole lives, and now suffer greatly due to healthcare costs. They can't live near their grandchildren, they've downsized countless times. They deserve better.

I have been a health care professional for over twenty five years and am totally disgusted with our current system. We now have an almost totally disfunctional "disease management and disease maintenance system" - not a health care system. This so-called health care system is the the fourth largest cause of death in America - look it up! I support this bill - we must take the power back from the pharmaceutical and insurance interests who do not have our welfare in mind - only their own greed and profit. Please give all your support to making this bill a legal reality. Thank you,

I'm ready. Ive been ready for 70 years. Its about time that the government for the people and By the people should serve the people. Up untill now the government has served only the governing, not the governed.

If America is going to provide proper healthcare for our people we need to create major change. We must tell Congress that our health care is no longer for sale to special interest groups like chemical companies. It's time for Americans to step up and demand their right to clean air, clean water and proper health care for all. Thank you.

It is time for a NOT FOR PROFIT health care system in this country. It is a shame that we lag behind almost 3 dozen other industrialized countries.
# 7:

It's a national disgrace that we don't have quality healthcare for all in our country. Not-for-profit, single-payer, universal healthcare as outlined in HR 676 is exactly what Americans need and deserve.
