I was wondering if none of us had unlock the iphone or if we couldn't, i don't think apple would have made money like the way they have done for last few months. users are taking such risk and spending money on iPhones. out of 10 customers 9 buy the iPhone thinking that they would be able to use with any network.(After unlocking) Just imagine what would happen to Apple iphone if all the none AT and T users stop buying. I think Apple should open it for everyone

I can never switch to AT&T from T-Mobile. Pricing and HotSpot access are critical. I feel like i might be losing faith in Apple for doing this with their phone.

AT&T and Apple are both forward-thinking companies...why lock out your hardware/software/technology only to show the world the GIANT steps backwards in progress & thinking that are being taken. Preventing paying customers from using the phone with any carrier they choose is childish and the only reason for doing it is, of course, for the ALMIGHTY DOLLAR or BOTTOM LINE...SICKENING and SHADY business and customer relations preactices!!! SHAME on both companies who usually command my respect and money. No longer, when it comes to the iPhone. Sad really, everyone looses.
