Icarly is sitcom made for children, but its probelm is that it tries to be edgly, too edgy for kid's show. Icarly is loaded with racial and cultural stereotypes, and even goes as far as to bashing countries and the people who inhabit them. There are also things in certain episodes that may make children feel bad about themselves, such as a scene in one episode in which one of the co-stars states that 'hardcore' (although that particular word is not actually said) video gamers have no lives, sure, that may be true in some cases, but some kids who play games even in small doses might not understand completely and take offense. There are also themes in episodes that are questionable for a sitcom made for the youth, such as death and suicide. If you don't believe me then feel free to watch this show for yourself. I guarantee you'll find it inappropriate for the show's young target audience.

I strongly feel that Icarly is a terrible influence and should either be banned or written in a less offensive manner.
