In January of 2007, the Idaho Governor made a law allowing hunters to kill all but 100 wolves, or about 10 packs. Otter also made Thursday "Idaho Sportsmen Day". Butch also announced that he is in favor and supporting the Idaho Anti-Wolf Coalition. The wolves are already rapidly dropping, only about 200,000 species left in the world. Do we really need some anti-wolf moron to make it worse? Sign a petition to stop wolf hunting in Alaska and put a hault to C.L. Otter's reign of terror.

Stop the senseless killing. There is absolutely no reason as to why you should decrease the population of wolves. Don't even go on about hunting, either. Hunting for game is wrong.

Killing the wolves is cruel and inhumane. These animals are being allowed to be physically and emotionally tortured by ignorant state policies and ignorant and cruel people. There are other ways to control wolf populations. Let's do something right!!!

It is not necessary to hunt or kill wolves today. To break up families or packs is not the decision or purpose of Idaho. It is their job to protect, treat, rescue and release these sweet creatures and leave them alone in the wild.

Yes Mr Otter. As you as your wolf hater, and cattle racher, and trophy hunter buddies have the mistaken impression that only the people like yourselves have the right to determine the lives of the wolves...we say NO. It is WE the people of the United States, the "taxpayers" who pay federal taxes to preserve these lands that "our" beloved" wolves have the right to live free. Dirk Kempthorne, former governor of Idaho is definetly anit predator, and has not placed one creature on theendangered species list since being in office. The wolves fate has to be decided by the the total poplulation of tax payers, not those that have a selfih agenda of old world selfishness, and who definitely NOT the ones to act like any GOD to wipe out a species from the planet. Shame on your attitude and and keep those sites off of the wolves. As a former resident of Idaho, northern Idaho, I know how those that are anti wolf behave and their attitudes full of lies and old wivetales. |

Without the wolf as a natural predator to their prey, their prey will overpopulate causing overgrazing and the such. There is an ecological role of predators.Everything has a natural right to be on Planet Earth. There is value in everything and some have not yet been discovered. If we decimate the animal population, what then? History should be a lesson here.1890 in Arizona, between 1906 and 1923 in the Grand Canyon and 1958 Cornucopia, Wisconsin all saw the extermination of natural predators.
