I don't think they should get life, but they should definitely get something like 5-15 years in prison. It's a well known fact that once scum like that are bored with killing animals, they will almost certainly look towards harming people to keep their panties wet. As such, they should spend a long time rotting in the real-life form of hell, aka prison, because as far as I, and most others are concerned, they aren't much better than someone who murders people, rapists, pedophiles, terrorists, or Westboro Baptist Church cultists. People who kill, rape, and inflict wanton bloodshed are among the reasons I'm an atheist, because no loving, compassionate god would EVER let people do such horrific things.
