Its the star cast of a different kind. After all, 2,000 species of animals and reptiles dont star in a TV show every day. Sonys new show, Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, is doing exactly that. However, OIPA is not enthused.
To be shot in Taman Negara rainforest in Malaysia, wild animals such as tigers, elephants, Sumatran rhinoceros, wild pigs, mousse deer, Malayan dogs and pythons promise to raise the testosterone levels with 10 celebrity contestants.
Of course, International Organization for Animal Protection - OIPA in India  isnt excited by the show. If the shoot was taking place within India, we would not have allowed it to go ahead, Naresh Kadyan, representative of OIPA in India, said.
Using animals for commercial purposes is simply not ethical. We dont know what the Malaysian law states, but OIPA doesnt endorse it anywhere in the world. We will see how animals are portrayed, he added.
Interestingly, the shows producers do not intend to bring in trained animals for the celebrities safety. Instead, the contestants will be put amidst real jungle because aman Negara already has a number of species. And, the wild animals are already sending a chill down the celebrities spines in Malaysia.
Already, a unit member has been chased by a wild boar while host Yuddhisthirs room was once hostage to chameleons.
It remains to be seen how the celebrities  including Marc Robinson, Chetan Hansraj, Akashdeep Saigal, Shweta Tiwari, Anaida, Mona Wasu, Nigar Khan and Upen Patel  tackle the animals besides incessant rainfall and dangerous landslides.
The Taman Negara is believed to be one the oldest rainforests in the entire world: estimated at 130 million years old. In fact, it is considered to be one of the worlds most complex and rich ecosystems.
Of late, animals have become the new attraction for TV producers.
Not long ago, Akshay Kumar-hosted Khatron Ke Khiladi showed several species like lizards, chameleons, spiders and dogs competing with a clutch of beauties.
Thats not all. MTV Roadies and Fear Factor also took the  animal route to add excitement.
For instance, alligators were used in Roadies 4 as contestants attempted to complete a task amid a huge set of the lethal species.

The TV show called "ISS JUNGLE SE MUJHE BACHAO" is kind of show where violence towards animals is displayed on television makes light of a very serious issue, and public perception about the treatment of animals  & there is nothing entertaining about the unethical treatment of animals, which is used as main criterion for entertainment in this show.
"Many studies in psychology, sociology, and criminology during the last 25 years have demonstrated that violent offenders frequently have childhood and adolescent histories of serious and repeated animal cruelty.
Other research has shown consistent patterns of animal cruelty among perpetrators of more common forms of violence, including child abuse, spouse abuse, and elder abuse. "
We are not in an era where one has to live "Jungle" life so there is no meaning of broadcasting such so called reality shows at the cost of helpless lives ..it would definitely affect child psychology of present as well as future generations .
Please help to save innocent animals from sacrificing by boycotting this show .
Please sign now to ban this show .
Thank you for contributing towards making difference being voice of voiceless .

If Pornography is banned in India then this show must also be. Pornographic Studios are much more ethical than the Sony Entertaintment Television and the Producers of IJSMB. In the former they show dehumanising the human body in the latter they show the same with even greater de-humanisation the human spirit

This show should be banned for many reasons. firstly, We are already very cruel to animals and they should NOT suffer for our entertainment. secondly, few show participants are BULLIES e.g. AKASHDEEP, MIKA and CHETAN. We should not allow bullying and should not be aired on television for young children to learn from. although the victims may be seem okay, bullying can have long term affects on the victim. Last but not least, few of the challenges were dangerous as they did not seem controlled and could be fatal. When these same challenges were carried out the second time, they had been slightly changed which shows the fact that the first time they were not controlled. ANIMALS SHOULD NOT SUFFER FOR SAKE OUR ENTERTAINMENT! PERIOD!

The program is made in bad taste. Why animals and innocent creatures are made to suffer for the sake of sheer entertainment is the big question here. The program needs to be banned at the earliest.

India has always been the cradle of spirituality and compassion. Lets work towards keeping that image. Please understand that animals including tiny insects, do not exist for our entertainment but perform a bigger role in the sustainability of our planet, simply stated we humans depend on them for our existence. Please give them their due respect.
