We are signing this petition to recomend Ms. Jasmine Kripalani, a journalist, where her professional career may help the fast growing field of the communication business. We have been privileged to know Jasmine for 20 years. we have seen her growing up both, professionally and personally. Her conscientious effort and dedication in developing the most high quality journalist reports have made her professional experience one hard to find in the business. We will request you take a moment to read at her Curriculum Vitae and If you find that Jasmine's career objectives match any position description, I know of no reason you would be dissapointed by her employment performance.

I've known Jasmine for five years and she is truly a unique talent. It's hard to believe she would be on a layoff list. If the Herald knows what's good for its future they will certainly reconsider.

Jasmine Kripalani is a diamond of a journalist, a diamond of an intellect, and a diamond of a person, and the Herald would be doing itself much harm by letting her go. I urge the Herald to reconsider and find ways to meet its new budget realities that won't harm the integrity of this important paper. Thank you. -E. Mordujovich, Miami Beach, FL.

The way Jasmine writes her stories is very unique, this talent that she has is hard to find, she really enjoys writing, taking this away from her is like taking something away from her life. After 10 years for working for them, I think she deserves something better than that, like a promotion, not a layoff. If she losses her job for the Miami Herald, they will regret it later because they will see her really succeed in another field, they loose. They don't know what they're missing...

Jasmine deserves to stay on board and keep her job after all the time she has devoted to that job. She has earned the right in so many ways. Losing her would be a detriment to the herald. Plus, I'll miss reading her stories!

Why would you want to jump back onto a sinking ship? You certainly didn't deserve this, but we are all targets and next to be layed off in the upcoming months..years. Sad, but true. You're a smart, talented woman. You don't need this place. A year from now, you'll be grateful that things turned out the way they did..and alot of us will still be holding our breath. We are all too nervous to even sign a petition, how pathetic is that? I say run like the wind and don't look back.

Jasmine is a superb reporter! In this economy, it's terrible to cut longtime, faithful employees from company rosters. You'll need that kind of reporting expertise to win back all of the readers you're losing.

I am sure you would agree Jasmine is an excellent reporter, having served the readership of the Herald for 10+ years. As a loyal reader and member of the community myself I ask you to reconsider your decision.

To Whom It May Concern, Jasmine is my childhood best friend and I have known her personally for many many years. Please reconsider laying her off. She is a single mother of a beautiful baby girl and needs this job for her child's well being as well as her own. As we all know things are very expensive these days not to mention how our economy has changed for the worse. She has been there for the longest time as an employer for the Miami Herald. Her work is fantastic. Please reconsider this seriously. Thank you, Sharon Mehrpouyan

I have been lucky to have known Jasmine since High School, in which times you could already see her determination, responsibility, dependability, talents and passion. I cannot see how the any company would benefit from not having her on their staff. I urge you to reconsider your decision. Thank you in advance!!

Jasmine has been a part of the Miami community for a very long time. She honestly cares about the people and the city in which they live. Her commitment to making the Miami a better place for everyone is evident in her stories and articles. To lose such a great reporter would be tragic for Miami and everyone who lives and visits here.

I have known Jasmine for more than 4 years, since meeting in a French class we both attended at the Sorbonne in Paris. While getting to know her, I have learned of her great love for writing, reporting and her appreciation for her position in The Miami Herald. The news of her being laid off shocked me. I think this organization will be making a great mistake by letting go such a loyal, talented and enthusiastic writer.

As a resident in France, I read the Miami Herald news through the web and have many times remarked the great articles that journalist Kripalani has written. It is a shame that the directors of the newspaper decide to let such a good reporter like her, who has contributed so much, get laid off.

Jasmine is a work horse, a great reporter and writer, and a nice and caring person as well. Those traits are hard to find in a business that is wrought with frauds and two-faced back stabbers. Newspapers need more talented people with amazing personalities and character traits like Jasmine, not less. You don't strenghten a newspaper by cheapening it.
