Join Celebrities and Ask McDonald's To Go 100% Cage-Free

As the largest egg buyer in the United States, McDonald's has the power and moral responsibility to change the inhumane way hens are treated on factory farms.  Ten Hollywood celebrities and Mercy For Animals are asking McDonald's CEO to have compassion for animals and buy 100% cage-free eggs worldwide.  Please join them in their appeal for a more humane world.

Hens raised on factory farms are exploited and abused in ways that would land an egg supplier in jail, if the victims were cats and dogs instead of chickens.

McDonald's could make great and permanent changes for battery hens, if they take responsibility to buy 100% cage-free!
We the undersigned ask the McDonald's company to have compassion for animals and adopt strict policies to purchase 100% of the eggs you use from cage-free suppliers.  We support the efforts of the ten celebrities who wrote to you about this policy change.

As you are aware, battery hens lead miserable lives in tiny wire cages and are mistreated and abused in horrendous ways.  These poor birds never get to walk, run, perch, see the sun, breathe fresh air or do nearly anything that comes naturally to them.

As the largest U.S. egg buyer, McDonald's has a great opportunity to make changes that
would better the lives of all battery hens.

Please do not forget these innocent animals and adopt policies for McDonald's to buy 100% cage-free.

Thank you for your time and consideration of this effort.
