Hello everyone,

It's been a long time since I made a new petition but I've found something that I want to highlight. I want to get as many people as I can to join the World Community Grid. It's a great programme that you download onto your computer and your computer becomes part of WCG's large public computing grid benefiting humanity. This means that, by letting the programme use the time when you aren't on the computer but it is still on, you could be helping scientists with their research!

This fantastic programme will let you choose what projects you want to help with and when you want the programme to run. You can see the progress of the project too and you can still use your computer as normal while it's running. It's just a programme that runs in your background but to everyone else it's medical history making or global warming preventing. It's free and only takes about 10 minutes to register. All you need is a computer with internet and you don't have to do ANYTHING! Just let it run, that's all.

As a member of this programme and of this site, I was amazed that Care 2 doesn't have a team on the website. The teams are a bit of fun really, just working together and meeting users, etc. You team will earn points for the amount of time they spend running the programme. So I'm going to start up one. Look out for 'Care 2'.
