Justice For Gabby

I would like to ask every one to imagine going to pick up your child from day care, only to find out that she is not right, rushing to the hospital to be told many things are yet to come. Her Family by her side watching her head swell, new bruising appearing by the minute, and yet almost 3 years later her family is still fighting for justice. This innocent little baby was harmed by the very people paid to take care of her.
http://www.myspace.com/prayersloveforgabbyHer name is Gabrielle. She has been forced to start a life long battle. In July 2006,she attended a daycare center in Cape Giradeau, Mo. While being there she was attacked by an individual. At 6 months old, Gabby was left with permanent life threatening injuries.
Only an adult could cause such force upon this innocent little child. She had a starburst fracture in her skull & was hanging on for her dear life while more bruising appeared as the day went on. Along by her side was her savior, Grandma Treasa & all her family. Gabby went through 6 surgeries trying to fight to stay alive. She fought hard and pulled through all of those battles.
Yet, the individual that has caused her & her family all of this pain & suffering has not been brought to justice.
As of this present day 2008, Gabby is faced once again to fight for her life. Gabby is experiencing tremendous seizure activity in her brain. The meds that she is currently on are not working and the doctor's are concerned about Grand Mal seizures. She is now on stronger meds & will be monitored 24/7 She may have to be admitted for observation once again in St.Louis. Her doctor's have stated that brain injuries are very unpredictable.
So why in the world isn't this sick person in jail at least! Why is he out on the streets doing as he pleases while Gabby & family are suffering through this awful time someone has placed upon them. They didn't ask for this. He choose to harm & hurt her. He should be brought to justice!
At only 3 years old she is on her fourth brain surgery and now the family is being told that because a doctor failed to pin point an exact time that this occured there is no way to convict.
I say there must be a way. There must be some thing that can be done. Please if we stand as one voice, we can make a big difference for this innocent child who was assulted, and because she had no voice of her own they will walk.
Please join me in urging the District attorney to stand up on her behalf and help to do exactly all that is neccesary to bring this person to justice, for the sake of the family and all the children who suffer unwillingly at the hands meant to care for them.
Time will run out faster then we think. We must act quickly.

Would like to adress the lack of attention in the case concerning young Gabrielle (last name withheld) day care abuse case. We feel that this really deserves more attention and concentration. We must find justice for this young girl and her family, we must stand against the guilty and let them know we will not be silenced because her voice could not be heard! We are uniting to speak on behalf of all that is being ignored and letting this child suffer with out justice. If you could please take a closer look at this case, rexamine the evidence and attempt to bring the accused to justice. We would greatly appreciate it.

I am a childcare provider in Delaware and the thought of any of my daycare children ever being harmed in such a way at any daycare really sickens me. People need to be held accountable for their actions. Lock this person up for the rest of his life or better yet give him the death penalty because as soon as he is released, he will only harm or kill someone the next time. We dont need people like this in our communities!!

I had a nephew die at the hands of his babysitter-a woman who had other children in her home and who continued to keep children for years - now 23 years ago and noone investigated her - she got away scott free and it was torment for his mother and father ever since. I pray God lets justice be served this time by the courts, not only by Him!

I am friends with Treasa Benn, Gabby's Nana, and I can't begin to explain the pain and hardships this family has endured. Why is the person who did this to an innocent baby still enjoying freedoms? I thought laws were in place to protect us.....especially laws designed for the safety and well being of our children. Who dropped the ball in this case? Shouldn't someone else pick up that ball and make damn good and sure justice is given to this wonderful loving family and to this beautiful little girl?

Please bring justice for this child. Because of the cruelness of another she is to suffer the rest of her life. This can't be looked over. Send a strong message to others who feel the need to harm helpless children that this will not be tolerated or go unpunished. If you will not stand up and take up arms for this child and many like her, who will. Look into your heart and do what must. You have a choice to fight for the cause or become part of the problem. By not helping this child your are supporting the problem. Do what is right! Stand up for justice! This person deserves to be behind bars but if this isn't possible then at least make him pay for her medical, physical and mental care for the rest of her life. That is the least he can do. Here my voice and do what is right! Thank you and may God bless Gabby and Treasa for their strength. Treasa has alway and remains a wonder role model for us all. She is a perfect mother and grand-mother. If I could be half the human being that Treasa is, it would be a blessing. Thank you and God bless you all.

I can't believe a sick piece of garbage that would hurt a helpless little girl like this has more rights than she does! They know a date, why would they need an exact time? Somehow I doubt the perpetrator's family is going to offer up any help, she was in THEIR care at the time! Now they're covering for the person who did this to Gabby, and he's free to do it again to someone else's child! This is not right, bring him to justice, and his family too for hiding him.

God bless little Gabrielle and her family. Poor beautiful little sweetheart. Horrible people like this should not be allowed to be with children in a day care.
