Many base their one sided view on facts that have been collected between 2001-2008 between these years Australia had been going through drought therefore numbers decreased (just like prior to man arriving in Australia).
Now with good rains and tighter controlls on the Kangaroo Harvesting industry the population of Kangaroo has increased. Another reason why people against the harvest of Kangaroo will not mention 2009 and beyond for the infomation contained in these years does not suit their agenda ask anyone that is for the complete ban on Kangaroo products and they will quote facts from 2001 to 2008.
All my facts come from the Australian Goverment sponsored website Deparment of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts subsection Government roles in kangaroo and wallaby harvesting
I do not dispute the facts gathered for the period 2001-2008 but it is 2010 so lets get the facts right!
