Keep the SF Botanical Gardens free

We the residents of the Inner Sunset and the city at-large do not want entrance fees imposed on the SF Botanical Gardens.  These gardens have been free to the public since opening in 1940, and are a neighborhood sanctuary.  We city-dwellers do not have large backyards.  Golden Gate Park is where we go for nature, thus removing free and open access to these gardens will have a strong, negative impact on residents.  The vast "improvements" planned for the gardens (with additional funds) are not as important to residents as free access.  These gardens should not be just for those on tour buses; they are desperately needed for the local community.

Please consider alternatives to the proposal for entrance fees.  Let's keep the Botanical Gardens open to the local community.
