We, the undersigned, hereby petition Governor Sonny Perdue of GA and Commissioner Chris Clark of DNR in GA to reinstate Chet Powell as manager of Reed Bingham State Park.
Anyone who regularly attends Reed Bingham State Park knows that it is very well maintained, preserved, and promoted--these efforts are mainly attributed to one man--Chet Powell. The Park offers excellent educational opportunities for children and adults in South GA and North FL. These classes and events have been largely developed and promoted by Chet Powell. Removing him from this Park will cause it to suffer greatly and will affect all the families who attend reguarly. We, the citizens of the United States, hereby request that Governor Perdue and Commissioner Clark listen to the people's request to reinstate Chet Powell at Reed Bingham.
