Keep Fracking Out of New York

  • By: Environmental Advocates
  • Target: Congresswoman Caroyln Maloney, NY Senator Charles Schumer, NY Senator Kristen Gillibrand, Governor of New York State Andrew M. Cuomo

Last month, the EPA admitted that fracking can poison groundwater. And in the past two weeks, there have been two earthquakes near Youngstown, Ohio -including one with a 4.0 magnitude - that experts blame on fracking.

Fracking has also been linked to earthquakes in Arkansas, Colorado, Texas and Oklahoma. Four months ago, the freak "East Coast Earthquake" shook New York and the eastern seaboard.

New York doesn't need more earthquakes from fracking, or poisoned ground water from fracking fluids.

Tell Albany fracking is dangerous. The risks, from poisioned water to earthquakes, are too great. Keep fracking out of New York.
