We the undersigned believe that New Orleans Voodoo Fest brings much needed tax revenue and tourist dollars into New Orleans. Please reconsider putting the Voodoo Fest BACK on your date book for City Park Events. Don't make the City of New Orleans suffer. Surely you can find an amenable location for everyone to enjoy the park that weekend. Let Voodoo Fest be held at the original date already scheduled.
Dear Mr. Becker,

The Voodoo Music Experience has been a tradition for my friends and I since 2005, when we attended the one day event held for first responders. That day was one that is quite memorable for me, it was the first day that I felt like things might be ok for my city. I have taken great pleasure in attending the festival every year since then and plan to attend every year. If you take this festival away from the people of New Orleans, you are taking away a lot more than just a concert.

Why would you change an event that brings in so much money to the city and state. Voodoo fest just gets bigger each year, which means more money every year.

I want VooDoo Fest!!! It seems like a little common sense would go a long way in this situation. Put your heads together and make it happen for the good of Nola.

It's an utter outrage to prioritize a wedding arrangement over the more profitable tradition of Voodoo Fest. You and City Park are always complaining about how little money yall have. Postponing that wedding would be a wise financial decision.

I agree. F*** those weddings. Halloween in New Orleans without Voodoo Fest just doesn't make any sense.

Ive been attending this fest since the first one and it has grown so much since then it brings in so many people from out of state and brings all that revenue into the city. F*** those weddings

Voodoo fest is what halloween is all about! You absolutely cannot let this happen... besides it's a great way to bring in revenue and meet new people. Don't do this!

Louisiana already has troubles, why take away something so beautiful? It should at least have some space in City Park
