Keep Steve Wasserman in Prison

On October 25th, 2005 Steve Wasserman kicked his way through the front door of Susie's apartment. He was wearing only a bath robe and armed with a samurai sword. He nearly took Susie's life, right in front of her four year old daughter. At one point during the brutal attack, he held the sword over Susie's heart and tried to get her daughter to push the sword into her heart. The only thing that kept Steve from taking her life and possibly taking her child's life was God's intervention and one brave officer who stopped the attack.

Steve was sentenced to 7 years to life for aggravated mayhem and burglary. Steve has several mental issues that he has never been correctly diagnosed for. His erratic and psychopathic behavior has been going on since he was very young. Steve may be doing well in prison, a controlled environment, where he is required to take his medication. But, if he were to be released, it only would be a matter of time until he returned to harm our family. We are not looking for revenge (Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord; Rom 12:19) Our prayer is for his parole to be denied. Steve's parole hearing is July 25th. Please support us through prayer and if you are led to, support us through letters to the parole board. Through this page we will provide updates on how our prayers are being answered.
