Keep Svajuna Beniuk in prison

"While the trusting animal sits calmly in his arms, he scans the traffic to make sure no cars are coming.

Then, when the coast is clear, the dog is calmly dropped over the side of the bridge.

Miraculously, the animal survives and - to the viewers' horror - can be heard crying in distress over the roar of the traffic."

Svajuna Beniuk could face up to a year in prison for what he did. Help me send a message to Lithuanian President; we will not tolerate this kind of cruelty. Sign this petition to keep Svajuna Beniuk in prison for at least five years.

Svajunas Beniuk was charged with animal cruelty for throwing his dog off of a bridge (the video is linked below), and I understand he will be facing minimal charges for his actions. If you explore the internet, read forums, and examine other petition sites; you will notice that there are many people, thousands, who are enraged by his actions and the insufficient punishment he will be receiving - watch the video and you will see why.

We, myself and the people who signed this petition, implore you extend Svajunas Beniuk's sentence to a minimum of five years, without parole or bail. By doing so, you will be sending a message to Lithuanians and the people all over the world, that you have zero-tolerance for animal cruelty; you will be showing everyone that Lithuania led by Dalia Grybauskaite is tough on those who commit animal cruelty.
