We, the fans of Peter Jones and his new show, Tycoon, are petitioning ITV to keep them from cutting Tycoon from 1hr per episode to 30minutes.
While the ratings for the prime time Tuesday night slot may not have been high enough, it doesn't change the fact that Tycoon still had a stronger episode 1 opening than both Apprentice and Dragons Den.
Moving the show to another time slot while it builds a fan base is one thing, but cutting the show from 1hr to 30 minutes is unacceptable!!!
The fans of this show feel the time cut will really take away from the Tycoon experience and as such we are voicing our opinion.

I took the night off work last night especially so I could watch tycoon as I don't have a video recorder to record it. So I was gutted to see my favourite show of the week was on. It should be on for 2 HOURS next week to make up for dissapointment this week!!

I sat down last night with a friend and a large glass of Pinot to watch Tycoon on ITV and to my horror the show has now been moved to Monday at 10pm. Not only did this frustrate me but they now want to cut the show to 30 minutes! Not good enough! Please please please keep the show to one hour its great!!!

Having watched the first two episodes with my wife and enjoyed them I was looking forward to the third, tonight at 9pm on 3rd July. I think it's DISGRACEFUL that you've postponed it to another time slot and CUT it to 1/2 an hour. Fair enough, move it if it's not getting enough viewers but I DEMAND that you give us the opportunity to see the full hour episodes.

Tycoon has got grit, it's a new format, takes time to get into, hence the reason the 1st episode didn't do too well. The second episode was fantastic and people are getting to know about it. Please let it stay on for the full hour. WE LOVE TYCOON AND PETER JONES HAS STAKED HIS REPUTATION ON THIS. Give it another chance, we don't feel like it's been aired long enough to make a decision like this!
