K.O.L.A (Keep our Lakota Aware)

K.O.L.A. stands for Keep Our Lakota Aware, it also means Friend in the Sioux language.
KOLA does many things for all age groups, but it also raises awareness of the many people incarcerated in prisons in various states of the USA. Some of these people have been in prison in excess of 27 years, on life sentences, they are denied parole hearings, so they will never be released.
Petitions from all over the world have tried to appeal to the US Givernment on behalf of these prisoners, over a number of years, to no avail.

KOLA is a human rights organisation, for further info email kolahq@skynet.be
