Koreatown Park @ Wilshire and Hobart

We/I stand with Koreatown Immigrant Workers
Alliance (KIWA) in support of a public park on the
lot at Wilshire Boulevard and Hobart Avenue in
Koreatown.

We support efforts to develop community green
space and parks in the heart of Koreatown, one of the
densest yet most park-poor communities in Los
Angeles.

A centrally-located city park on the lot at Wilshire
and Hobart will benefit residents and families that
live in this urban community, the professionals who
work here, the businesses that make Koreatown such
a vibrant place, and all Angelenos.

We urge the City Council and our leaders to support
efforts to build a Koreatown park at Wilshire and
Hobart, including seeking Prop 84 state parks
funding for underserved communities.

Thank you.
