Sarah Palin has been chosen as the Vice Presidential nominee for the Republican Party. A McCain victory in Novemeber would mean that Ms. Palin will literally be a heartbeat away from the Presidency of the United States. No matter what our party persuasion, we have a right to have this woman vetted thoroughly by the media - why is she being hidden?

We the undersigned are outraged that Sarah Palin's appearances are being carefully scripted by the McCain campaign, and that the media is not being allowed to ask her the tough questions necessary to determine whether or not she is truly fit to be Vice President. Further, we believe that the McCain campaign is derelict in its duty to the American people if for political reasons, someone who is not even up to the task of being vetted by the MEDIA is being considered for the Vice Presidency. End this now! Give the media access to Sarah Palin and give the American people a fair chance to judge her on her own merits, and not those of seasoned speech writers!

I agree let Sarah speak! Sarah, the self proclaimed pitbull with lipstick feels that she is up to the job of vice president, means that she is confident in her capabilities, so being interviewed by the press should not be an issue for her. Also, she and McCain both agree that her executive experience of 1.5 years of running a state indicates that she has meet with the media in the past, so what is she waiting for? Lastly, the media should stop covering McCain and Sarah until she agrees to be interviewed the media like everyother candidate running for office. Supposely, she has agreed to one (1) interview with Charlie Gibson, however she needs to be under the same scruntiny (face more than one interview)! Unfortunately, we all know why they are hiding Sarah from media interviews, she has to learn the answers to questions!
