Let's heal the world together -

The signatories this petition, request the creation of "Worldwide Day of Pop" on August, 29. This day could be no other than the birthday of Michael Jackson, The King of Pop and on of the greatest artist ever to be. One who created new tendencies, innovation and changed pop in our world.

The creation of "Worldwide Day of Pop" will not be just a festive commemoration day. Michael Jackson's generosity towards children and those in needs, also his fight towards a better world is inquestionable. He was blessed with an amazing talent and used towards the making of a better world. Therefore our intention is to give continuation to his humanitarian work promoting shows and beneficent actions around the world and with money collected together the UNICEF, UNESCO, UN, Greenpeace, WWF and others to be reverted to the benefit of thousands of people on areas of health, education, culture and leisure and also promoting the preservation of our planet and wildlife.

Michael Jackson in his music showed his feelings for the people and our world, let's then, help The King of Pop to be remembered not only by his music, choreography and his genius, but also by his great soul, his L.O.V.E. and his fight in trying to make a better world for all.

We believe that with union and awareness of the people we can help heal the world, we hope that this solicitation can make an idea become reality and that together we can make the difference in a world that still has hope.

Later this petition will be forwarded to the appropriate institutions and/or organizations, including Michael Jackson's family and the managers of his estate.

Under these terms, we ask for deferral.

Nós, os signatários desta petição, solicitamos que seja instituído no dia 29 de agosto, o "Dia Mundial do Pop". A data sugerida não poderia ser outra, tendo em vista ser o dia do nascimento de Michael Jackson, Rei do Pop e o maior artista que o mundo já conheceu, o qual inovou e aprimorou o pop mundial.

A insitituição do "Dia Mundial do Pop" não será apenas uma data comemorativa. A generosidade de Michael Jackson para com as crianças e os mais necessitados e sua preocupação com o mundo ao longo de sua vida é inegável. Foi abençoado com um talento inigualável e utilizou-o em benefício do bem-estar universal. A intenção de instituir o "Dia Mundial do Pop" é dar continuidade a esse trabalho humanitário, promovendo shows e ações beneficentes ao redor do mundo. A renda arrecadada será utilizada em parceria com a UNICEF, UNESCO, ONU, Greenpeace, WWF, bem como outras instituições idôneas e revertida em benefício de milhares de pessoas nas áreas de saúde, educação, cultura e lazer, assim como também na preservação de nosso planeta e da vida selvagem.

Michael Jackson exteriorizou em suas músicas seus sentimentos pelas pessoas e pelo mundo, portanto, vamos fazer com que o Rei do Pop seja lembrado não somente por suas músicas, coreografias e sua genialidade, mas também pela sua grandeza de espírito, por seu amor e por sua luta em tentar fazer deste mundo um lugar melhor para viver.

Com a união e conscientização das pessoas na intenção de ajudar a curar o mundo, esperamos que esta solicitação deixe de ser somente uma idéia para se tornar uma realidade. Juntos, iremos fazer toda a diferença em um mundo onde ainda há esperança.

Posteriormente, esta petição será encaminhada aos órgãos competentes, aos administradores do espólio de Michael Jackson e à sua família.
