Low Prescriptions Prices for the Elderly and People with disabilities!

Low Prescriptions Prices for the Elderly and People with disabilities!

Target:
Connecticut Budget Decision-Makers
ConnPACE Plus is a program that was recently passed in CT through the House of Representatives. This program will maximize federal funding to help keep prescription drug prices down for the elderly and people with disabilities. ConnPACE Plus is expected to save the state's budget approximately $4.6 million. ConnPace Plus is at risk of being pulled from the state budget. Please sign this petition in support of keeping this much needed program in the budget!

We are students at the Fordham University Graduate School of Social Work who are interested in  keeping ConnPACE Plus in the CT state budget. We - as well as the fellow undersigned - believe it is a much needed program and will benefit both citizens of CT and the state budget.

As a former CT resident, I applaud the passage of the legislation that created the ConnPACE Plus program. Seems as if it's a win-win...a very important benefit for the elderly and prudent fiscal choice for the state government. Why pull it?

I agree with any system that will reduce the costs to the elderly.

As a person who has grown up poor and with both parents that have disabilities, I definitely think the disabled and elderly should receive low prescription prices. T disabled and the elderly only get so much from the Government each month and it's not a lot.

CT is one of the richest states and yet our government can't find a way to assist the elderly with the purchsing of their prescriptions?! And to top it all off they want to take away the only means of assistance they have! We need to support this petiton by signing it so we push our government into really considering this and other options to provide the elderly with prescription coverage as well as affordable health coverage for veryone!
