Over the past several months we have all suffered the cost of rising gasoline prices. Many of our services such as but not limited to airline flights, UPS deliveries and things of this sort. These are all understandable as companies must stay in business...however, gas prices have gone down. Most companies have adjusted their fuel surcharges accordingly... NOT ALL OF THEM HAVE! The City of Natchitoches, Louisiana has a fuel surcharge that is completely unacceptable! They are charging more for the surcharge than they do the electricity and this is unacceptable! Sign the petition for the Mayor and City Council...let's show them we have a voice!

I work in the oil and gas industry, natural gas has dropped 4 dollars in 2 months. The surcharge needs to follow suit ASAP. Most people can not afford these type of bills. Please if you locked in your price for natural gas revisit the contract.

Not only am I paying higher utility cost at my home, but I am also a very small business owner and it seems that our electric bill is steadily rising and it is getting harder to keep up. Sometimes I feel as though the businesses are charged more to make up for the larger residential bills that are not being paid fully to maintain your operating expense.
