make atv's legal under current motorcycle laws

i just wanted to take a few moments of your time and have you sign my petition

back in 2007 i was in a serious motorcycle accident and because of range of motion issues, and not having the strength to hold a motorcycle up, i can no longer ride them. i can however ride 4-wheelers (atv's)

i would like to see legislation passed to make atv's legal under the motorcycle laws.  there is no reason an atv with lights, blinkers, horn, and street tires should be left out of options for people to use as transportation.

they are street legal in the UK and some states in the US. they are just as safe if not safer than a motorcycle, they get good gas mileage (something becoming more important to people all the time ) and would give many of us handicapped people who can no longer ride motorcycles a way to enjoy the lifestyle again.
