Have you ever felt deceived? lied to? I have never felt as terrible as the moment I found out about the main companies that test on animals. http://www.thevegetariansite.com/ethics_test.htm I watched videos of animals tortured in laboratories, but had never imagined that i was encouraging these atrocities. My concept of companies who tested on animals was a small lab in a rural place, this however is not the case! Covergirl? Pantene? Colgate? Kotex? I used these products day after day and wasn't aware of the dark bloody stories behind them. Who is to blame? That doesn't matter at this point...discussion isn't the solution, prevention is the key. Sign this petition, lets force companies to display 'ANIMAL TESTED' on their products. This shouldn't be a problem for these shameless companies because if they believe they are doing the right thing by testing on animals they wont have a problem with announcing it. If they do have a problem then I recommend that they STOP TESTING ON ANIMALS!!

We the undersigned believe that it should be made mandatory for products which are animal tested to state so clearly in big, bold letters at the front of their packaging. We believe that companies have the right to decide their ways of production but we the consumers have the right to know.

How can anyone sleep at night knowing an animal has suffered? Products are not that important to me if they are animal tested. I will not buy products tested on animals. Please stop testing on animals. They suffer and feel pain. Why don't you test on your children and see how you feel. I bet the financial gain would not be so great. There are other ways to test products. Other companies do so and those products are the ones I buy.

If a company doesn't display NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS on their products you can take it that they do. But YES those companies that do test on animals should be made to display that on their products. As consumers, the public have a RIGHT TO KNOW what these shameless companies are spending their profit margins on. In the U.K. cosmetic testing on animals has been banned. However, animal tested cosmetics and hair products produced in other countries are still being sold in British shops. There are no notices on any of these products to inform the public that they have been tested on animals. It's about time they were legally made to do so.
