Have you ever felt deceived? lied to? I have never felt as terrible as the moment I found out about the main companies that test on animals. http://www.thevegetariansite.com/ethics_test.htm I watched videos of animals tortured in laboratories, but had never imagined that i was encouraging these atrocities. My concept of companies who tested on animals was a small lab in a rural place, this however is not the case! Covergirl? Pantene? Colgate? Kotex? I used these products day after day and wasn't aware of the dark bloody stories behind them. Who is to blame? That doesn't matter at this point...discussion isn't the solution, prevention is the key. Sign this petition, lets force companies to display 'ANIMAL TESTED' on their products. This shouldn't be a problem for these shameless companies because if they believe they are doing the right thing by testing on animals they wont have a problem with announcing it. If they do have a problem then I recommend that they STOP TESTING ON ANIMALS!!

We the undersigned believe that it should be made mandatory for products which are animal tested to state so clearly in big, bold letters at the front of their packaging. We believe that companies have the right to decide their ways of production but we the consumers have the right to know.

these companies need to stop this, alot of people use these product and dont even realize that they are tested on animales, some of my products were on this list, now i will be swithing to products that arent tested on animals.this needs to stop

As a scientist myself, I am disgusted with the "research" that is involved in some of the labs that are allowed to work with animals. There needs to be strict punishment for corporate and research labs that do not follow protocol, which I know many do not.

Companies who test their products on animals should specify it so that customers can make a conscious decision about what they are buying. Companies who refuse to do so should stop testing on animals or get fined if they carry on and don't mention it (more money to the government!).

Yes, I will gladly sign this petition! I always read the labels to see if the products "Aren't tested on animals". I agree with the petition that companies should let the public know their products are tested on animals and what atrocities are committed against these poor helpless animals day in and day out for some it is for their whole life. Confined to small cages where they can't move freely, electrodes inserted into their skulls, chemicals put in their eyes, on their skin and made to ingest. All of this is horrific and continues with taxpayers money. There are other, better means and technological advances that prevent this from happening but are regretfully chosen not to be used. The best thing of all would be to completely STOP TESTING ON ANIMALS COMPLETELY.....WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!

The practice of testing on animals must be stopped. There is no value to what they do to these poor creatures they torture. I was horrified to learn that products I used every day were doing animal testing--my shampoo,hair color and my toothpaste--so I got all my products and threw them in the trash (where they belonged). I have boycotted pg products and I now make it habit to look on the label to make sure they do not test on animals. These companies that test on animals know what they are doing is wrong thats why they are cowards and won't list it on their labels. Consumers have a right to know. Companies that test on animals should be made to mark it on their label.

Just because animals cannot speak does not mean they should be forced against their wills to endure any experimentation whatsoever. Who gave the right to allow this cruel way to animals? Why is law made to allow animals to be used as test subjects? People do not want these methods and they never did. If the industries thought otherwise then why is it they keep it all behind closed doors? Why do they not allow people to see what they do? And why is it these people hide at the first question against testing on animals? None of them can deny the facts that animal experimentation is fraud. People still get allergic reactions from their products. Yet the testing continues and more people are STILL no different than before. They still get rashes, people still get gray or dry worn out hair, and they still get wrinkles. People want it to stop. But the industries do not listen. So why should people want these industries? What is the point of an industry or establishment that will not listen to the customer? The customer or consumer comes first. Why should we allow a practice of inflicting pain and misery on animals? We dont. So stop the lies and throw out all animal testing altogether.

I don't think anyone could comprehend, how an animal would feel, having these products, tested on them day after day, and why would the company tell us! They would never tell, because we wouldn't buy them, especially if we loved animals enough not to! But I know this, we just can't investigate every single product we use, but when I find out that they have tested them on animals, I stop using them immediately!

If companies think that they are doing the right thing by experimenting on animals then let them advertize it on their products, in BIG letters for the world to see what cruel and ignorant companies they really are. It might also be a good idea to have videos of how these companies torture animals for the world to also see.
