Help Make Helen Ukpabio Face Justice
As concerned members of the Nigerian and International community, we have been watching in great horror the activities of Evangelist Helen Ukpabio for some time now. After having noted the recent great damage done to Nigeria's reputation by this false prophet's un-Christian teachings, we now feel that we have no option but to call upon the Nigerian Federal Government, Inspector General of Police, Akwa Ibom State Government and Cross River State to act to prevent any further embarrassment being caused.
We believe that the recent attacks of innocent NGO staff and children at the CRARN children's centre were orchastrated by Mrs Ukpabio in an attempt by her to deflect criticism of her and her church's role in the labeling of children as witches, an act which has led to the widepread abuse of child rights taking place in the South-South region. Such violent abuse and labelling of innocent children is clearly an abuse of the Child Rights Act (2004) and, as such, we therefore call for the following:
1/ Urgent in-depth investigations into the recent attack on the CRARN centre and the activities of Evangelist Mrs Helen Ukpabio and Liberty Foundation Gospel Ministries to take place for breaches of the recently enacted Child Rights Act, which makes it illegal for children to be labeled as witches.
2/ Closure of all churches found to be labeling children as witches through deliverance or other methods.
3/ Seizure of all assets and illegal wealth of all false prophets such as Helen Ukpabio and redistribution of such funds to rehabilitate the victims of child witch stigmatisation.
4/ Successful prosecution of all pastors and parents found to be labeling children as witches.
We do not wish for the world to continue to focus on Nigeria with negative press and we do appreciate that you continue to monitor the response to the child witch crisis in Nigeria. We wish to encourage you to do everything in your power to fight such perpetrators of evil and uphold the rights of Nigeria's children.

It's heartbreaking to see, that people believe that GOD let someone like her, act in his path. She clames that she has the abbility to judge over people and to make other people jugdge over eachother. If in your heart you believe in GOD, you know, the time to judge is in GOD his hands and not in people's hands. Everyone has trouble in his or her live, do not point a finger at another, but remember what the bible says, we all have to pay the price of our ancestors mistakes, but freedom is been paid for, trough the blood of Jesus.
Unbelievable that this continues even though these horrible practices have been unveiled by journalists and aidworkers, for all to see. Why is Nigeria not waking up to this? I know intervention from the West will not help, the change will need to come from within, but if there is anyone in the Nigerian government with some education, and some sence of right and wrong, how can they stand by and do nothing? I am disgusted again, that this woman who clearly does have some education, is misusing this to reap money and admiration from her own people who are clearly not educated and easily influenced and indoctrinated with these horror stories of children and whichcraft. To teach people to look at children as possibly evil, and something to fear and destroy instead of precious life that needs to be nurtured, educated and protected. I do not believe in god, but I do believe that religion is again misused to create misery instead of a guideline of how to live life and respect all other life on this planet

Its terrible that people in nigiria believe what this woman and the churches are saying, things like bath health not enough money and so on are NOT to blame on childeren!! It starts with yourself!! Peace starts in yourself!! I hope this woman one day feels the pain and the suffering the childeren have gone through regards Angelique de Wit.
I'm now in Nigeria; I came to fight against the stigmatsation of the cildren as a witches. Yesterday, two children (10 and 6 years old) was close to be killed because was accused to be witches.
Helen Ukpabio is the real witch! It's shokking to see, that she has so much power over the people. When seeing the documantary is whished that just one of those kids had real magic power to strike back. It made me realy angry.

Having spent time during the 60's as a child with my british parents in and around Port Harcourt, I was horrified to learn of the abuse of children by the spreading of misguided - really evil - ideas amongst members of evangelical communities in Nigeria. These apalling practices cannot be allowed to continue!

There is nothing more sick than making a profit out of innocent children's suffering. Taking advantage of people's fears and insecurities and unleashing it upon the most pure and sacred things of this world, can only be the work of someone stark raving mad. Someone has to stop her.

Children are our future. Sick people like the brown female HITLER Helen Ukpabio are destroying that future. She should be in prison like other mass murderers. Maybe there must be a tribunal for this people. When people are more educated and raise there people better up they would never follow this stupid women.
