At this time, the Indiana statute only addresses chain length, yet constant chaining has been deemed cruel by the A.S.P.C.A, H.S.U.S. and The American Veterinary Medical Association. Adding new legislation to Indiana Statue to protect dogs from this cruelty seems to be the obvious thing to do.

When an animal is properly cared for, the reward you gain is an animal with complete devotion. My pets bring me great happiness and I would never consider leaving them out of my household on a chain for any length of time, they are a part of my family and I love them. |

Dog chaining is inhumane and always will be regardless of the excuses people may have. Dog chaining is used by many business owners and they could care less about the dog................they only care about their cars etc.! STOP THE DOG-CHAINING IN INDIANA AND EVERYWHERE! |
