Rescue shelters are beyond overwhelmed by the vast amount of stray, neglected, and unwanted cats. This problem has been getting worse every year - and is now far beyond levels we can all cope with. Animals are suffering endlessley & it has to stop. The fact, pure and simple, is that there are thousands of people who get cats every year, who don't have them neutered, and then either abandon the kittens or give them to somewone who a few months later is irresponsible enough to let them breed also.

We, the undersigned, appeal for the compulsory neutering of cats, with the exception of registered breeders who would be monitored re breeding amounts. We ask this in view of trying to help reduce the vast amount of stray, neglected & unwanted cats in this country.
