Make spay/neuter a law in Pennsylvania

Each day 10,000 humans are born in the U.S. and each 70,000 kittens and puppies are born. As long as these birth rates exist, there will never be enough homes for all of these animals. As a result, millions of healthy, loving cats, kittens, dogs and puppies face early deaths either by gassing, (Carbon Monoxide), or lethal injection as a form of animal control. Others are left to fend for themselves against automobiles, the elements, animals and cruel humans who torture, abuse and neglect them. An unspayed female cat can have 11,606,077 kittens in 9 years. They can have their 1st litter at the age on 5 months old. Spaying a female can reduce /eliminate gland tumors,ovarian/or uterine cancer. Neutering a male cat eliminates testicular cancer. The number of unwanted cats/kittens is at an all time high. What can YOU do to help STOP the suffering? Spay/neuter your cats and dogs and sign this petition, please for the animals.

We the undersigened are in support of making it a law to have to spay/neuter your cats and dogs or else you will be fined a heafty sum of money. Each day 70,000 kittens and puppies are born, many of them die cruel deaths either by cruel humans, euthanasia by gassing,(Carbon Monoxide), automobiles or the elements. Many are tortured, neglected, abused or thrown in the streets to fend for themselves never knowing the love and kindness of a loving, caring human. We feel a court order needs to be issued to every veterinarian in the state of Pennsylvania that they must participate in a no cost or low cost spay/neuter program. If they do not participate, they lose their license and are banned from ever practicing in Pennsylvania again. If they participate, they get a tax break for complying with the law or have it cover the cost for the spay/neuter so they break even. Euthanasia is not the answer, spay/neuter is. It is proven that spay/neuter works. Please, help stop the suffering and make this a law in Pennsylvania.

I WANT EVERY STATE TO PASS VAST AND COMPREHENSIVE SPAY/NEUTER LEGISLATION! Not only do I want it required, I also want it FUNDED through programs provided by the state. THINK OF ALL THE MONEY THAT WILL BE SAVED IN THE LONG RUN! Instead of paying for animal control and euthanasia, money can go into education and low-cost spay/neuter programs. Eventually the numbers will come down to lower and even lower still.

There is no reason for the misery of pet overpopulation. Tax dollars are spent housing and euthanizing these poor unwanted souls. Spay and neuter could solve much unnessary suffering.

THsi law would only apply to private owners. There are too many stray cats and dogs that are suffering. Spay/neuter is the only effective way to curtail the overpopulation.
