Make the drug plans pay for all prescriptions

Target:
Blue Cross, Blue Shield and etc...
Sponsored by:
Have you ever had to pull out your wallet to pay for a prescription even though you have a drug plan that you pay into? Why are you being asked to pay for the prescrition when you have a drug plan? I'll tell you why because of MONEY. There are certain drugs used to fight diseases like CANCER, CROHN'S & OSTEOPOROSIS that are not covered, because they are to expensive. How do I know this because I have been a victim of the drug plans. I have both Crohn's and Osteoporosis and have been told the drugs that work best are not covered. As far as Cancer my Mom has fought and won twice and there were drugs that she needed that were not covered. It's time to face the drug plan companies and force them to start paying for ALL OF OUR PRESCRIPTIONS not just the ones that meet their financial criteria.

How can you take money from me either every 2 weeks or once a month and yet when I need your service it's hit and miss if you are going to pay for my medication. What I pay in fees annually far out weights any prescription regardless how long I am on the medications. So it is time for your companies to pay up.

I have a sort crohn's..'ulcerative colitis'...I am trying to help support what this CFC organization is trying to do. I feel it's terrible that many are without there meds. It's a terrible and PAINFUL disease as it is, but without meds it's just not bearable! I wish you all the best!

No one should have to pay exorbitant amounts of money for something they need. It's time for us to stop over-paying for medications for which our health plans should be paying.

My husband has Aplastic Anemia and his Bone Marrow Transplant doctor insisted he have the brand name and not the generic because the generic is chemically different and is not as successful as the name brand. Insurance (Caremark through AT&T) would not pay for more than the cost of the generic. We paid $1400 for 3 months supply while he was on this medication. But he recovered and is in remission. While it was a hardship to pay for this, at least we could manage it. I often wonder what we would have done if we would not have been able to come up with the money, and what happens to people who can't. BRoken system here.

This is my daughter's petition and she also has a charity page on facebook under the name SONIC4UR.RX for those of you that help paying for medications I suggest you check out her charity page. Maybe just maybe she can help you the charity is just starting out so it maybe a while before she is in the position to help, but I know once she has established the charity she will do all she can,

Even if she were not my daughter I would be supporting in what she is trying to do. There is nothing more shocking then to be sick and need a certain medication and your drug plan has decided that they don't want to cover that drug because it's to expensive.

I am diabetic, but my insurance company will not cover the insulin for my pen injector. Now I need to buy both the needles and syringes, not cost effective on a fixed income.

I totally agree with this!!!!! Stop messing around with the insurance plans that we have had to pay out the nose for!!!!!

All Drug Plans should cover all prescriptions!!!! Thats why we pay such high premiums. For God's sake people, what you want next, OUR FIRST BORN??????

As a Crohns patient without insurance due to my "existing condition" I cannot afford the medication I need, therefore I am hospitalized a few times a year, racking up hospital bills I will never be able to pay. Helping fellow humans in need without making them pay is only the right thing to do. Why should we have to pay to stay healthy, and more important, why should another human have to pay to stay alive? I always thought life was free.

My sister had ovarian cancer and boy did I learn alot. She was refused treatment by doctors till she paid her "co pay balances". She had a room full of pills and only pot helped her in the end. I have COPD, have had lung cancer and my "co pay" is over $400. per mo out of pocket. Now I have diabetes and test strips are over $100. but I have to use the products the insurance company demands so all my meters are useless and so are my test strips. These companies need to be fined and nailed to the cross for the lies they tell us. Pharm companies and insurances companies are in bed together laughing at all of us. We die, they get rich.

As I said I have Crohn's and Osteoporosis and have had more prescriptions refused then I can count. But nothing prepared me for when my Mom had Cancer and she was having prescriptions refused by her drug plan. It just left me speechless I'm stil

It's time for us to stop pulling out our wallets and paying for medications that our drug plans should be paying for.
