The mustangs, burros, and other wild horses are great symbols of some wild areas left and the Old West. By letting greed get the better of things, the BLM could severely mismanage the land for the benefit of the few but at the same time destroying the dreams of small children when their parents have to say to them " there are no more wild horses left, Dear". I maintain that these burros and horses are now part of the (anthropological and natural) ecology since the 1500s so their sustainability is of great concern to us, and should NOT therefore be thought of as feral.
