Phillip Mardis%u2019s childhood was far from normal. While his friends were enjoying life as a child, Phillip was tied to his bed, trying to prepare his mind for the horrific beating that was about to take place. Unlike most abused victims that block out their hurt, Phillip%u2019s terrifying memories consumed his mind and began destroying his future.

Abuse, drug overdoses, dealing drugs, homelessness, jail and working as a narc with the D.E.A. were just some of the frightful issues he is faced while trying to escape his horrific memories.

The purpose of the book is to openly explore Phillip%u2019s deeply personal issues and, in the process, help others face the physical, mental, and emotional crises that birth from abuse. This moving book also provides a new perspective, that a dark and painful past can bring forth a glorious purpose.

I think a story like this certainly needs to be told. So many people have no clue how much being abused damages a person & how that hurt & damage stays with the person for the rest of their life. To some abusing someone is just fun & games. They have no idea how much they are destroying the victims life.
