Obama should recognise nations without states and micronations

Target:

There is great talk about liberty today, but the facts are that citizens of large and small unrecognised nations, Fourth and Fifth World nations respectively, do not enjoy the same liberty and dignity as people who are fully represented by their sovereign nation-states.

The United Nations will never address this issue, so open-mindedness must begin within nation-states which have a longer tradition of democracy and respect for human rights.

Whether the leader of a First World nation agrees with the thoughts, or with the territorial claims of Fourth or Fifth World nations is besides the point. The solution to problems, greater respect, and greater open-mindedness begins when the apparently lesser parties are treated with at least the same dignity given to any for profit or non-profit organisation.

All men may be created equal, but for some strange reason nobody even suggests that all nations, sovereign and less sovereign, recognised or largely unrecognised, large or small, should be afforded at least equal dignity. Yet even the very Bible itself suggests that one day nation-states, and nations without states, shall dwell with one another in true peace:

And the wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. (Isaiah 11:6)

Let's start Paradise on Earth today!

We believe Obama should recognise nations without states and micronations, and that this will truly bring peace to the world.

If he believes in an individual's freedom then, he should respect and recognize those wanting their freedom to govern themselves.

Micronations are real, and apply to international law! So Not recognising that, is like keeping POWs after a war is over!

The advent of micro-nationalism should be seen as a new phenomenon at the dawn of the twenty-first century. In an era that is defined by specific aspects of individualism in the contemporary, independent aspirations for political assembly, reconciliation, and self-proclamation should be recognized by the federal government for the sake of the observation of the definitive characteristics of the internationally esteemed American dream. The founding fathers of the United States of America believed in the establishment of a land where aspiring individuals or contingencies of communities could observe a particular political ideology or structural belief system that dose not infringe on the rights of other citizens. The foundation of the United States of America is also based on the fundamental principles of pursuits for the attainment of life, liberty, justice, and freedom. Our ancestors immigrated from every corner of the world for the pursuit of these qualities that were only imaginable dreams within their own home countries. The pivotal composition of the United States of America is recognized as the consolidation of a common belief system defined by the definitive qualities of the American dream for all that desire such esteemed luxuries. The advent of micro-nationalism continues to emerge throughout every corner of the international community as humanity progresses forward into the twenty-first century. The attainment of the federal government’s recognition of micro-nationalism as a credible means for the pursuit of political assembly, reconciliation, and self proclamation will eliminate the alienation that continues to exist within the halls of state and federal government. Above all, micro-nationalism must be regarded as a method of political assembly that is safe guarded within the composition of the American dream. Recognition as an independent governing directive dose not suggests that the petitioning micron-nation will not be subject to comply with the written state and federal laws throughout the vast United States. Any infringement on the rights of the American people cannot be tolerated while in the pursuit of micron-nationalism. However, integrating the concept of micro-nationalism into the essence of the state department will only ensure greater comprehension and reconciliation as a whole while both the United States and prospective entities are allowed to coincide on this basis alone. -Omar Kreger-Alansari The Federation of the Conservative Socialist Continental Collective.

As the head of a micronation, I would like to think that, in coming years, once we finish fulfilling all the criteria set out by the UN in the Montevideo convention, there would be a macronation willing to recognise us and set the ball rolling for intermacronational recognition. I hope President Obama might set up a piece of legislation giving micronations who have fulfilled the criteria of the montevideo convention automatic recognition.# Tsar Royalé Tierney

The nation of New Utopia is a principality, regulated by a formal declaration of sovereignty and a constitution, somewhat resembling that of the Principality of Monaco. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The purpose of government is to protect freedoms through the preservation of internal order, the provision of national defence, and the administration of justice;" "When government interferes with the work of the market economy, it tends to reduce the moral and physical strength of the nation; that when it takes from one man to bestow on another, it diminishes the incentive of the first, the integrity of the second, and the moral autonomy of both." http://www.principalityofnewutopia.com/index.php

Smaller Nations tend to get along with other nations due to their limited size and resources. Maybe all nations should have a "Population Limit". Once they reach a certain number it would be time to create another new micro nation.

I agree that these nations need our help! I also feel that Long Island should be its own state in the Union, but since that doesn't seem likely, the most convienent alternative would be to declare itself as an international sovereign nation.

I do not consider myself a member, citizen or subject of any micro nation. However I do support with all my mind and heart the person that does. This petition is one more sign of the existence of good honest people still longing for proper true representation in a supportable government. These same People are seeking to honor their human, personal and family needs by seeking out others of like mind and heart to form a Nation and a Government that they believe in. Is this not the Right of All? Is this not what every person wants no matter what nation and government they may now align themselves with? No matter if they now call their home the United States of America or any other on the face of this world? Years ago in the USA small groups of only 5 or 6 people got together and formed a church. These small new churches ordained others, baptized and even married people. States and large churches did not like this and called these churches lots of things but never good things. It ended up in the Federal Court. The wise Judges decided that all that was needed to form a Legal church was three adult people, one being the Minister, One the Secretary and the third the Treasurer, Thank you Universal Life Church for your fight. In my opinion it takes less to be a Government and Nation then a church. It takes one person.

Living in a nation (Germany) that is eating all resources away from its inhabitants, I see the need for downsizing. Supernations like the EU are not the solution. Tiny nations like Liechtstein or Singapore are. Today people have to change residence about once per year to keep on working. They no longer have roots in a single continent. People can identify with a micronation but not with a supernation. That is why I am an UMMOA national.
