I don't know the exact reasons to why you're not going to publish Midnight Sun -- It's your book, you can do what you will with it. stephenie meyer is a wonderfully imaginative and creative writer this book opens up a whole new world to her readers...i dont want it to end.i know she feels violated and she has every right to be,i beleive she should take time to heal and to get over everything but i just hope at some point it does get published.it would be a great loss if she didnt no matter what happens she is one of the greatest authors of all time and edward and bella will always be in our hearts.

It really sucks that a few idiots might have ruined the whole thing. I hope after some time, you'll finish the story and publish it. You mentioned wanting to see it sitting on your shelf next to the other books in the series, and the story deserves to be finished, in spite of whoever tried to ruin it, whatever their reasons. I did read it from your site's download, but I'd still gladly buy it to put it on my bookshelf. Thanks!

I am a new to Twilight. I just recently read the 4 books and part of new moon. I understand the reason why Stephanie does not feel like finishing the book and it is her right. But I would like her to know that I totally enjoyed the series and I found that adding a book with Edward's view was a stroke of genius. Not many authors give both sides of a story and I thought it was great. I would really enjoy reading the rest of midnight sun so please Stephanie, if you read this, please come back on your decision. I am a devoted mother who likes good literature to escape reality on her much deserves spare time :) p.s. my dauthers would realy love to read it too...

I just finished the posted chapters of Midnight Sun on Stephanie's site. I'm left just wanting more, much more. There is so much potential here. No one ever gives the stories through both eyes. I really hope she publishes this book, the whole series for that matter.

Midnight Sun needs to be published. I and others that I work with feel that it would be a great asset to the saga not only to have Midnight Sun published but also have a version of Breaking Dawn released from "Edward-Rosalie-Edward" point of view to compliment the "Bella-Jacob-Bella" point of view in Breaking Dawn. Edward goes through so many high and low points in BD that it would be interesting and insightful to see how he feels about what he has done to Bella. Dooming her to become a vampire, even though he said he would never take the choice away from her.

It is understandable that Stephine would be reluctant to finish the book, but it is to late now. Half the world is frothing at the mouth to read the rest since the patial draft came out and it would only add to the story to know the other details that you cant get from bella's point of view. So Please! Be for we all go crazy here! Tell us what Edward and all the reast are thinking!

She has half the world frathing at the mouth. Giving Edwards point of view is a good thing, that will add a much need demintion of understaning to this much beloved story.
