MORE POLICE K9 ABUSE! TWO CASES IN MIAMI!

Target:
K. Fernandez-Rundle, State Attorney, Isis Perez, ADA, et al,
Sponsored by:
RE: Call for Police K-9s all over the World! TWO SEPERATE CASES IN MIAMI!
Maximum penalty please for these two cruel abusers of their K-9 animals.  These 2 policemen were entrusted with these beautiful, trusting and obedient animals. They betrayed that trust, paid it back with the ultimate brutality. They deserve to pay the maximum price, whatever that is.
Please take 1 minute to call......and voice your opinion for the two K-9's that were killed for no reason....the state attorney will be noting your calls and this will assist them in a proper punishment!!!
Isis Perez at 305-547-0664

Your requests to this attorney can be as follows:

1. That both felons receive the MAXIMUM allowable under the law

2. That both felons be relieved of any accrued benefits

3. That both felons be disallowed from ever owning or controlling an animal

Two Miami police officers that murdered their K9 units. These innocent creatures were given to these officers and these officers were supposed to care for them not kill them. Both officers are going to trial soon.

Rondale Brown who starved his beautiful 4 year old blood hound to death goes to trial on May 19th: http://www1.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/MI79409/

Alan Cockfield who kicked his german shepherd Duke to death goes to trial on July 28th. I, as most of you know, have been working with the television stations and have brought the humane society of the united states into this. I just got off the phone with the deputy director of animal cruelty issues for HSUS and the state attorney in Miami who is handling both cases. They both want calls from people to the state attorney asking for convictions of these men. They are going to take all the names and quotes/requests before the judge when these officers go to trial. Please I am begging you to call the assistant state attorney. Be very nice but tell her what you think and why these men should be found guilty.

If you or I killed a k9 unit we would be charged and convicted of a third degree felony. Both of these officers have been charged with animal cruelty and killing a K9 unit. Both are third degree felonies. If convicted of a felony they will no longer be permitted to be officers and get some other form of punishment.

Please call assistant state attorney Isis Perez at 305-547-0664 and make your feelings known. also please pass this on to any other animal lovers you can think of that will make this call and ask them to do the same.

I normally don't put personal comments on these petitions cause I tend to talk to much. But after watching that video I just HAD to say something. First of all it discussed me that a person that is paid to stop crime would do such a cruel thing. Second, in the video one other officer said that you have to do whatever it takes to control the dog. I'm sorry, I'm 42yrs old and I have NEVER seen a dog no matter how aggressive that needed to be controlled with violence. If you know what you are doing there is always a safe (for both dog and handler) way of controlling an aggressive dog without resorting to abusing them. This type of behavior is unacceptable and especially by a police officer that is suppose to set an example. I wouldn't trust that type of officer with my life ever for any reason.

These people, I can't even call them men, deserve time behind bars. How can they be so cruel? The people trusted them with their lives, and now their killing innocent lives. Please, put them behind bars for the maximum time, and never let them serve the people again. Thank you

What is going on with our police departments lately? This is animal cruelty at its worst. They should be punished with all the law allows.

We are suppose to respect law enforcement officers and then you read something like this and loose all respect for them. They should be punished to the fullest extent; no exceptions.

If these 2 police officers treat their animals like THIS, how do they treat others? They should NEVER,EVER be allowed to have another animal the rest of their lives. Maximum penalty must be imposed upon them to help stop this kind of animal abuse.Losing their jobs would not be too much to ask.

My sister and I are the owner of 11 dogs, some are rescues, some have medical problems. That someone could do this to an animal is reprehensible. Animals cannot speak for themselves, so we must speak up for them. How long before these people begin to treat human beings the same way?

I can't believe that people in law enforcement would act this way. This is a disgrace and they should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If these men could treat an animal this way, what does that say about them and what they're capable of? Take away their badges and guns!

K9 police dogs deserve to be protected from cruel treatment and death - just as our human officers are. Send out the word that abuse and death WILL NOT BE TOLERATED and WILL BE HARSHLY PUNISHED.

Those bastards deserve the harshest penalty. The dogs TRUSTED them for their care and love and, what did they do? Destroyed them. There is a special place in hell for people like this. They should be made to turn over their badges.
# 282:

It is appalling that police officers were involved in this type of horrible abuse. They are supposed to protect and defend everyone including animals - from abuse! I hope they both lose their right to be police officers. These are not the kind of people who should be permitted to wear a badge. They should be behind bars. I am disgusted by this news. Until judges and prosecuters start seeking and enforcing maximum penalties for animal abuse - it will continue and only get worse. PLEASE step up and do the right thing and prosecute them to the full extent of the law with the harshest sentence allowable under law. Enough is enough.

These dogs were trained police K-9's and the indiviual(s) responsible should be held accountable, not only for cruelty to animals but to the demise of a fellow officer.

As a British magistrate I have tried several cases of animal brutality. In each instance the perpetrator showed no signs of contrition and may go on to commit another act of brutality possibly on another animal or a vulnerable person. A member of the police is a respected person and may be in a situation, as with Rondale Brown and Alan Cockfield , where they commit an atrocity and are allowed to get away with the crime because of their position in the community. In reality, such persons must be shown that this behaviour is unacceptable and removed from such a position of trust to prevent another atrocity, perhaps with a child. Rondale Brown and Alan Cockfield must be charged with this felony and feel the full weight of the law. No-one is above the law especially the law officers!

Police Officers (I use this term loosely in reference to Rondale Brown and Alan Cockfield) are sworn to protect and serve. These two men are a disgrace to the good women and men serving in the Police Service. Brown and Cockfield should get the harshest sentence possible and repay the departmet every cent they had invested in the Police Dogs and should never be allowed to be a member of any Law Enforcement Departmant again.

THESE VILE AND SOCIOPATHIC COPS SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM SOCIETY FOREVER. VIOLENT COPS = VIOLENCE TOWARDS PEOPLE WHICH IS THE LAST THING THE CORRUPT MIAMI PD NEEDS - MORE CROOKS.

In my state of CT, if you kill a K9 Police dog it is considered a felony punishable by jail time. I believe these two should be put in jail as well as loose their job and pension. What kind of examples are they to all the other crack pots abusing animals, kids etc....

What an absolutely disgraceful and inhumane way to treat a defencless creature who's only goal in life is to please the 'human being' who thinks that the only way to train a dog is to beat, hang and humilitate him/her. Absolutely stunned and shocked to my very core!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!! We are taught as children that you can trust police officers. These are the men and women that keep us safe from the 'bad guys'. How horrific to think that police officers that we trust our lives to obviously have no respect for life and are actually the bad guys. These men need to be thrown in jail or better yet, they should receive the punishment they inflicted on these innocent animals. It is bad enough to hear about all of the animal cruelty that takes place on a daily basis but police officers...UNACCEPTABLE!!

If these allegations are true; these two officers should be prosecuted for murder. They could also be charged with child abuse...dogs are like babies, totally dependent on there caregivers for life's sustenance.

How are we to have respect for the law if they can't respect a life? It's like shooting your co-worker. I can only hope they see jail time with some of the people they have put away. They deserve everything that happens to them in jail for killing those innocent creatures. May they see the wrong end of a prison shank.
