After always having cellphone reception in my house, suddenly having no cellphone reception in my house. Cannot make calls, cannot receive calls, cannot sms, cannot receive sms, cannot do Internet Banking because I cannot receive sms with OTP no. Cannot do business. Paying for a contract that I cannot use.
Told Lina, MTN call center, to pass message to Xolani, her boss, that I am going to ICASA, newspapers with complaint and to attorney to sue MTN for fraud. MTN is selling thousands of contracts and pre-paid daily, knowing that their networks cannot supply the demand. This is FRAUD! Because of MTN overload, I, a MTN client for years, have no cell phone reception!
This saga has been going on since Tuesday, 9 June 2009. Today is Tuesday 8 September 2009 , and I have received no reply from either Xolani or MTN. Does anyone else out there have similar problems with MTN reception? If so please sign petition which will be forwarded to ICASA!

Reception is bad, phone calls always just cut off in the middle of a conversation which means extra money to call back. Sms's only reach the people days later. It is so irritating!
