This is about more than just a mural, this is about the people and its governments. It's about communication and working together to create the life we strive for. It's about challenging ruling bodies to move into alignment with the rapidly changing world around them. It's about taking law enforcers to task when they base decisions on stagnant laws and not on the individual merits of the actual case. It's about challenging everyone to put their human capacity for reason and thought to good use, and not just being cog's in a machine.
Yes, we want the fish to stay. Yes, we want to paint more murals around Muizenberg/Cape Town/The World, but more importantly, we would actually like to have some say in how our communities are run.
