You may discover many of your owners & families with adopted Greyhounds will have interest in this, or may possibly already participate in community events. Perhaps these owners can sign up and volunteer with a special contact person for this very special category of Greyhound pets. Wherever they go, they are loved and welcomed with open arms.Service dogs are large, strong, but gentle dogs specially rained to assist a person with a physical disability and are carefully trained for many specialized programs.
Therapy dogs are trained to visit Senior Citizens in a residential or assisted living facility, or a nursing home facility, it may be either a scheduled weekly visit at the facility or it may be monthly. Therapy dogsare needed as many owned beloved pets in the past. Greyhounds with their gentle dispositions are such a joy for visiting elders; beautiful to look at, friendly outgoing dogs that are fearless, seek human companionship and enjoy giving as much love as the get!They are NECESSARY ANGELS and bring joy to all those around them.
