New Mother of 3 Scheduled to DIE Tomorrow @Garland Animal Shelter

On January 4, 2011 this Beautiful new pittie mother and her 3 babies were being networked to save them from certain death at Garland Animal Shelter. They were scheduled to be PTS on January 6 and were NOT located where anyone could see them. 


On the 6th, we had a plan set to get her out. A rescue was going to pull mom and babies and take them to a foster home. The rescue arrived and mom and babies were taken out of the kennel and walked to the rescues car. She lifted mom up to place her in the kennel and must have hurt her since she had just had puppies and was nursing as well, and she bit the girl. 

Rescuer realized she had surprised the nursing mom, but the shelter made mom come back in with puppies and be placed in Quarantine for 10 days. 

She was NOT aggressive up to this point, and wasn't aggressive after that incident. BUT she is going to die tomorrow morning for something that wasn't her fault! The rescue worker even said she was fine and will STILL take the whole family.

We need your help to save this girl. We need you to call the shelter and let it be known that we, the community, want to save this girl.

We will sign a liability agreement with Garland Animal Services as they are only concerned with their liability.

Garland is a high kill shelter and has a history of making it near impossible to rescue under normal circumstances.

This is a good girl and she does not deserve to die.
