On July 28th 2009 Nic Lestrange, Husband and father to three girls, was tragically killed on the A350 Warminster road whilst travelling to a motorbike event with four other riders.

An elderly driver had attempted to do a U-turn on the busy road and had pulled out into the path of the bikes giving them no time to react. 43 year old Nic Lestrange died at the scene and another rider was seriously injured.

Despite all bikes travelling together with headlights on, the 79 year old driver claims he did not see them.He has since been convicted of death by careless driving.

This is not an isolated case. There have been many accidents similar to this and we strongly believe that the current laws on elderly drivers are not satisfactory. If you agree please sign this petition. Thanks for your support.
