We the undersigned have heard about the aforementioned case through multiple media sources.

We are urging you to prosecute Steven S. Croley on the 19 counts of animal cruelty charges; therefore holding him accountable for his actions and prosecuting him to the fullest extent of the law.

We strongly believe that the Humane Agents acted in the scope of the law and that no 4th Amendment rights were violated. The Agents witnessed the animals in clear, imminent danger. These initial observations constituted a lawful, non-search plain view situation. Thus supporting a finding of probable cause to suspect that the crime of cruelty to animals was being committed and that they acted promptly and appropriately.

Moreover, we will not be content until other criminal charges have been filed against Steven S Croley, e.g.  for services not rendered.

We must recognize that dogs are living, breathing and tangible property and it is our responsibility as decent human beings to protect them as we would protect our very own children.

Why is a man, who disregarded the lives of dogs he is paid to care for to the point of killing them by neglect, not being given serious prison time to pay for his crimes? Are not the lives of creatures helpless to fend for them-selves, reliant on humans for water, food and shelter worth more than 4 months? I value life. Both the lives of humans and of animals. I believe that when an animal abuser it not serious punished there are no consequences for him/her, that abuser will go out and do it again. Can we condone such hideous behavior? It is not fair to allow the pet owners, who are now grieving for their loss and feeling guilt that they entrusted the lives of their pets that they love like family members to such a cruel person, to be made to feel that their rights do not count. There must be new laws written that clearly spell out the punishment to fit the crime of animal abuse and murder. Yes, it is murder and it must be recognize as such. Steven S. Croley and High Caliber K-9 are accountable for their careless actions that led to the death of 7 dogs, they need to be held accountable for their cruel actions and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, Sincerely, loretta Dreyfus

Do you think a human life is more valuable than a dog's life. If you do, perhaps because man has emotions, so does a dog. Dogs give love, protect those they love, feel pain, sorrow, fear, just like humans. Dogs communicate. love, and work, --they just don't pay taxes. I would sooner take the life of a bad person, than an innocent animal that never asked to be domesticated or confined, or starved to death. I believe in an 'eye for an eye', and let me be very clear--if you don't prosecute Steven S. Croley for the death of those 7 dogs and the starvation of the 12 others, you are condoning his actions. My dogs are just as important to me, and I love them as much as a child. What if it was YOUR CHILD Steven Croley starved? What if it was YOUR CHILD that suffered and died in agony. WOULD YOU FEEL ANY DIFFERENTLY THEN? Think about it for a while. Then do what you think is RIGHT. We will be watching you.

This man should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Today it's animals, tomorrow it will be humans. This must be stopped now and only you can stop it. there must be much more astringent sentences given for attrocities such as these. It's in your hands and you must sleep with it. Remember, our children and grandchildren are watching.

This is absolutely appauling. As a trainer and behaviorist myself, it is highly disturbing to know that there are people out there calling themselves "trainers" and treating animals like this.

I think that it's an absolute abomination that this guy only got 4 months. I don't care about protocol...isn't the proof enough???

There's no excuse for this kind of cruelty. Both people and dogs trusted this man - tragically, the dogs paid for it with their lives.

There is no Justice for these poor dogs.I feel ill...humanity is disgusting as usual.I have no respect for those who sit by and refuse to insist that this be ended, once and for all,the animals are our brothers, not someTHING to profit from,use,abuse...I am heartbroken again...

A person who would do this to even 1 animal has no right to life. I can not even imagine the heartache the family's who lost their babies must have felt.

I think this is a horrible tragedy, and my heart felt condolences go out to all of the pet owners who intrusted their dog with this madman. I definatly believe this man should be charged with all counts and serve the max sentence. It discusts me how people like this get off with a slap on the wrist! I think he needs to payback the owners all of the money he incurred off these animals. I also feel that we as a country need to make new laws reguarding animal cruelty! Also ask yourselves this who's worse the man who did this or the men who allow him to get away with this??!!!!!!!!
