No Merger

As members of the community we believe that the residents of Morrison County have invested substantial resources into Morrison County United Way for the betterment of the community. We believe further that this investment was made in good faith to secure the support and services provided by Morrison County United Way to address the needs of area organizations as well as the needs of the community, and to ensure that the said resources remain available to the community for years to come. 

While we understand the organization's compromised state of health, we as members of the community are committed to maintaining the organizational autonomy of the Morrison County United Way. Therefore, we the undersigned call for the immediate withdrawal of St. Cloud United Way from the Morrison County Office and reject forfeiture of our independent office to that of St. Cloud United Way.

We further state that Morrison County United Way funds represent dollars provided by businesses and area residents, no future consideration of a merger should be undertaken without the express knowledge, input and agreement of the community served.
