Stop Sexual Abuse by UN "Peacekeepers"

The UN calls it peacekeeping, for women and children of conflict ridden regions it usually means more abuse, more violence, more disrespect for their human rights.
Only recently, the UN called back 700 peacekeepers from the Ivory Coast after widespread sexual abuse from the Moroccan soldiers became public. But this is not the first time.
Wherever the UN goes, sexual abuse, prostitution and women trafficking follows.
It's time to end internationally sponsored abuse!

And sometimes worse.

For years, the UN has been talking about ending these abuses and nothing has happened.

We, the undersigned, call upon the UN to truly adopt a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual exploitation and physical abuse and take immediate and effective measures to prevent any abuse of women and children!
We further call upon the UN to continually inform the international public about the steps taken and the improvements made.

By signing this petition, we pledge to follow up on the UN's efforts and to not allow the atrocities to be forgotten!
